Luis Gonzalez and I have been working on a proposal for the next version
of the boot-floppies (it's on a "very preliminary, pre-pre-alpha draft"
state). Providing several interfaces (text, graphics or no interface at
all for automatic installs) is already in the TODO list.
Unfortunately I have almost no time to spend on that document currently,
so I guess it won't be ready before September. I will put it on the web
when it's ready, and will send a message to debian-devel and the
boot-floppies team list asking for comments and collaborators.
