Arrhh.... I understand now. So you think that the Debian /etc/X11/Xresources
is never read...

I don't think this is the case though, as the original poster of the bug
said that if he deleted the entry on the Debian /etc/X11/Xresources,
then it would work...

Anyway, I always thought /etc/X11/Xresources was loaded into
the server (non-Debian, local) by the client (Debian, remote)
executing the equiv of a xrdb command... I might be wrong...

I don't understand why there should be a problem, and probably would need
to be able to reproduce the problem for myself.
