has this been done?
I'm currently working on a perl-based Menu Shell for users of my
school's Linux box. Most of them are computer-illiterate (windows users),
and therefore I'm writing the shell so I can restrict exactly what they
can do, using a sea of variables, etc. I'm also working on a setup program
so administrators can either use the setup script or edit the PERL source
directly (I've included comments). If anyone knows that this has been
done, or has any suggestions, emails would be nice :).
