what you all seem to be ignoreing, is I said OPTION. a OPTION would allow,
2 things. 1: a way for US (meaning those of us who already know what we
are doing) to install in a quick and sensible terminal install 2: a way
for newbies to install, linux for the first time, with step by step
directions. therefore, we would have the best of both/all? worlds...

consider this idea. we port apt, and dinstall to work with mgr (you can
find it on sunsite) then we only distribute this method of install with
the cd. (because it probably won't fit on the disks.... that means that we
would have to have 2 sets of install 'disks' ... but the cd set would
only be a small modification... and we could list it in the disks set, but
beside it say (dissabled) ... or some such ... not hard.
