Debian -IS- its ethics, its principles, its policies. If it weren't for
those, Debian would just be another RedHat.

I agree wholeheartedly with Manoj - There are several free licenses, each
of which have their use. But whichever one you use, I recommend you READ
it and UNDERSTAND it.
