Re: RH and GNOME
Hello Guys,
To clear up some possible misconceptions...
1: Miguel is not working for Red Hat, he is however coming here to work
on GNOME with RHAD labs for the week. The GNOME project has alot of work
ahead of it to be the best it can be.
2: Red Hat doesn't own GNOME or it's libraries. It is GPL. We cannot and
would not change this license. Red Hat believes strongly in Open Source
and the GPL. RHAD labs main function is to contribute directly to the
linux community and to help further projects such as GNOME.
The more people that use Linux the better. Whether they use debian, SuSE,
Caldera, Red Hat, or whatever... the more Linux users, the better. Of
course people have their preferences, but the race is still the same no
matter what car you drive -- to make Linux the most widespread operating
system in the world. :-)
