I'll try it.  I installed hamm on a new disk a few days ago, but couldn't
get it to boot from the hard disk.  I remember looking at /etc/lilo.conf
I won't sacrifice that installation just yet :*), but I need to install 
Linux on two new virgin disks in the next few days.
