This would be because the LD_PRELOAD library
"/usr/lib/libfakeroot.so.0" is libc6, so ldd outputs a line for
libc5.  If you still have a libc5 binary around, try it.

Should fakeroot make an exception for /usr/bin/ldd, trapping exec and
ommitting LD_PRELOAD from the environment it passes?
