No, not unless someone finds and fix the intermittent bug where dpkg
is fooled into thinking a directory is a file, causing it to bitch
about non-existent overwrite problems [#20250 et al]. I don't know
enough to fix it and have only ever had it happen to me personally on
a machine where debugging dpkg was not an option due to space and
speed considerations.
