http://thermo.stat.ncsu.edu/~nalin/FAQ/FAQ_NCSU-4.html

describes how NCSU uses Hesiod. The FAQ in general discusses
Linux-at-NCSU and how it uses the Athena suite.

Revision -2 contains a mini-FAQ describing how to pull out information
using hesinfo(1), where the tables are located (/var/named/hesiod/...,
not exactly covered by the FSSTD :-), and what you need to change to
move the tables from the initial "example.com" domain (actually
"ns.example.com") to your own domain. Hesiod doesn't use any "A" fields,
but it does require one "NS" and an arbitrary number of "TXT" and "CNAME"
fields.
