It would be a great idea to have source dependencies. I compile all
sources on my debian mirror and most fail because of missing
files. One then has to search the package and install that before
compiling again. Maybe deb isn't the right thing for source, but some
format to store source dependencies should be there.

As a start, a script that reads in the dependencies of the binary
package and compares that to the installed packages and dev packages
would be helpfull. When compiling something like fvwm, the script
should complain if xpm-dev isn't installed and promt the user (You
will need xpm-dev, shall I install it?).
