Subject: general: frozen has packages which depend on kernel 2.1.x
To: submit@bugs.debian.org
X-Mailer: bug 3.1.0

Package: general
Version: N/A

The 2.0 frozen release has a number of packages which depend on kernel 2.1.x
but the only kernel supplied is (and will be?) 2.0.x making those packages
useless. Even worse some of the packages have replaced working 2.0.x versions.

A quick look found these packages:

ax25-utils
smbfsx
ncpfsx
vold
pciutils
romfs
ipportfw
bridgex

Not sure if this is the correct way to report this bug. Sorry if it isn't.

Scott
