Which pksd is this? Is this Horowitz one? If so, there a number of patches
available on the pgp-keyserver list.

Not to shoot you down, but why bother? Every developer is supposed to have
a pgp key on the public key servers (although you should be checking every
now and then to see if it has disappeared). Having a private key server
would consume more disk space, cpu time and maintaince time than the
current keyring setup.

I used to run keyserver-au and it consumed 1Gig (raw database, backups
extra), 250Mb+ ram and much CPU -- and it crashed regularly. I wouldn't
recommend running a key server unless you have a lot of time at this
stage.
