How about:
/etc/isp/moe/{resolv.conf,...}
/etc/isp/larry/{resolv.conf,...}
then
/etc/isp/current -> moe (symlink)
and
/etc/resolv.conf -> isp/current/resolv.conf
/etc/... -> isp/curent/...
That way all that has to be changed is the symlink /etc/isp/current,
and the user has control over what /etc files are dynamically
changed. (e.g. he could replace resolv.conf with a real file and it
would no longer be dynamic).
