You can write little programs that uses a specific part of Java and/or the Java AWT that works with the Sun JDK. You can release that to the public and the Japhar people can use them for testing. And btw. the Sun JDK is really stable and I was able to do a real work with it on Debian GNU/Linux. Thanks to the porters! I'm able to tell the people afterwards that through the whole development neither the JDK nor the GNU/Linux system crashed and there was a smile on the face of my listeners (all Windows guys). The JDK gives me the *choice* to work on Linux instead of Win. Thanks, again!
