The next release (0.02) will have preliminary Motif AWT peers.

I think it could come along quite quickly.  Especially if it relies upon
"non-free" stuff like the Swing AWT classes - which don't need a lot of
native support.

Probably not for Mozilla (call it Mozilla, the branded "Netscape" product
won't be released as source) - but I think lesstif is good enough for
everything AWT does.

Japhar is fairly new - so it is following the Sun specs very closely.
It is totally based on JNI.  So I imagine that it could be made to
conform to Sun's specs for plugging in.
