I did the source format conversion, but the library itself doesn't
build, apparently due to changes in command line parameters for
various tools etc. I guess I could build it on a bo system (might have
more chance of working) but somebody will have to fix it some time
in the future to build on hamm/slink/etc. I'm not sure if I kept
my attempted patches either -- I don't have the patience to sort
out the rest of the problems.
