No. Use these values instead:
debian directory: /debian
distributions: dists/unstable/main

Basically, dpkg-ftp tried to get /debian/hamm/dists/unstable/..../*.deb
files, which obviously don't exist. In Debian 2.0, the 'official' path to
the .deb files becomes
..../debian/dists/{stable,unstable}/{main,contrib,non-free}/ , speaking in
bash syntax.
