Actually, nobody said it was a better list deliverer than qmail. It seems
to be a good local delivery agent.

I think none of the deliverers out there is really built for mailing lists.
Qmail came close, but a real list deliverer would do things like add
individualized unsubscrpition messages to each delivery, etc.
