p3nfs support?

Hello,

The Debian package of the p3nfs utility ("NFS" mount Psion palmtops on
Linux through a serial line) is quite outdated and doesn't include
support for the new Series5. It is also still based on libc5 (which
is not harmfull by itself but maybe indicates something about its
support status).

An attempt to compile the original source of the latest release under
"hamm" fails, apparently because of many disagreements between
libc6-dev and kernel-headers about the authority to define types and
constants (the "nfsd" part of the utility relies heavily on kernel
data structures).

A message to the author of the Debian package was left unanswered for
a week or two by now.

Does anyone support this package or can help me get it compiled?

Thanks,
