This is great!
In order to flesh out any bugs in lintian, I think you should follow
option c:
> c) post the complete list to debian-devel and let the maintainers
> fix some bugs before filing bug reports
After you're fairly confident that all its errors are genuine, you can
file maintonly bugs. I'll then incorporate it into dinstall.
