I didn't undertand everything but all that stuff scared me *a lot*!
I too live in europe and I too use smail as a spool when offline and
then runq in ip-up to deliver all the accumulated mail.
I have just downloaded libc6 smail to make my system full libc6 (last
package to upgrade, arf) but now I fear installing it.
The PPP connection would be really cool. Any volunteer?
