perfect! exactly what i wanted to hear. that sparc2 is going to be a
debian box.

ultimately i'd like to convert the web servers to debian/sparc too, but
i'm not even seriously thinking about that yet - i need to have a feel
for how stable it is before i spend any time planning such a drastic
change. which is why i want to put debian on the sparc2 - it'll do it's
job as the radius server and give me a debian sparc box to experiment
with.

is that just apache? or a problem with libc6 on sparc boxes in general?

how'd you get it to boot initially? bootp and then tftp the kernel?
is there a howto or some notes somewhere on how to bootstrap linux or
debian onto a sparc?
i'll have to start mirroring the binary-sparc directories now...
