Local mailers have permission to be case-sensitive in the RFCs. Domain
names are not case-sensitive, ever. So, the local part of the address
may be case-sensitive and the domain part is not.

Our list server is _not_ case-senstive about addresses.

The bug system _was_ case-sensitive about maintainer addresses at one time
and I do not know if this has changed.
