I'd argue that *users* should filter such duplicates, but mostly
because that's how I handle it -- after all, it *isn't* clear from any
set of headers whether the other parties listed are actually on this
lists mentioned.  (In fact, I use the X-mailing-list header to file
the version that comes from the list into the right folder, so that
the thread is consistent there -- mail that is *also* personally to me
gets filed as such, so I can keep up with the thread while falling
behind on the list itself... it works reasonably well, for me.)
