One of the people I work closely with here has the bigphysarea patch
working on one of our machines with Meteor framegrabbers and 2.1.60.
I can probably figure out the details if it would be helpful.
It may not be a perfect solution; we just needed it working on an SMP
machine *now*, so YMMV.
