In cases like this, you can install the X server from 3.3.1 on top of the
3.3 distribution provided by Debian. Just install whatever you need,
including an X server (vga16 would be nice, so you can run XF86Setup) and
copy the X server you like from xfree.org. This trick has worked for me
when 3.1.2 didn't have support for my video card and the latest beta did.
