The current VP.Eng. (which would be me) manages uploads to bo-updates,
coordinates with the testing director, attempts to keep a release
schedule, keeps track of critical bugs/sends reminders, does emergency
firefighting, and generally tries to keep the distribution clean.
I stay out of the politics as much as I can and don't even try to touch
the public relations side of things.
