shared libs and ELF in non-i386 Linux ports

Recently I've been told that Linux-m68k can have shared libs, so libelf
can be built as a shared lib for m68k platforms.

Now the libelf upstream mantainer have asked me about the other ports 
(alpha, sparc, ppc, ...). As I don't know much about those ports, I ask 
you here. :-) Do they use ELF and shared libs?
