I don't have procinfo, but procps 1.12.2 !?

Debian has loadlin 1.6-2

Don't know about this

GNU bash, version 2.01.0(1)-release (i586-debian-linux-gnu)

OK, you see?
Debian matches all version numbers, superceeds most of them. Many bugfixes
later, ...
I don't know about procinfo and autofs, but I undserstand they are only tools?

Hey, I could compile a 2.1.x kernel out of the box! And I live with a *pure*
debian unstable system.

BTW: It is only called unstable, because it is not fully tested. But only
minor hassles occur most of the time if you live with unstable. Most bugs
get fixed in a few days after they are reckognized.

C'mon, get Debian now! Debian has everything you need to install 2.1.x
kernels, and a lot of more (over 1200 packages).
