Did you read the "Installing Debian GNU/Linux 1.3" document? 
[ftp://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/stable/disks-i386/current/install.html]

This document does include the various installation methods, and it is 
usually the starting point for new users.  It is included in the disk 
images directory, and I would expect people to read it first, before 
trying to make any floppies.
