starting the same daemon twice -- HOW?

Hi,

after fiddling with the superior documented ``start-stop-daemon''
I failed managing to start the same daemon twice (with different
config options ...)

I thought, ``start-as'' would set the libc argv[0], but nope.
Then I changed start-stop-daemon to do this, but the routine
checking if the daemon already doesn't get choked ;-)

Since I don't like to have my personal version of start-stop-daemon:
What is the official way to have the same daemon started twice?

Of there's no way, I'd implement it in start-stop-daemon.
