At least GNU source packages are the same for every OS, and they use, 
of course, the same configure.in and configure script.

If we ever have to change configure & configure.in, we should not break
that. If we do, I think it must be labelled as a bug.

Is not finding bugs in source packages one of the purposes of this
automatic package building scheme?
