Re: preparing for auto compiling
Hi,
While we are talking about auto compiles, should we also be
thinking about a common CVS tree for the job? The package
cvs-buildpackage has enabled me to move ll my packages to CVS, and it
has been working quite well for me.
This would allow us to start bug fixes in order to get the
auto compile working, and send the patches back to the maintainer,
and handle the case of the maintainer having put in a new version
(merge the old patches into the new source branch). Other things I can
think of are different branches for the qa team (with possibly sub
branches when needed for individuals), and for the security team,
etc.
