Question about copyright file wording.

Hi.

I'm currently packaging unzip 5.30, but the following may apply to any
non-free package.

I have some doubts about the initial sentence in the copyright file. 
Since this package is not going to be part of Debian (just a .deb package
which happen to be maintained by a Debian developer) it is right to call
it "the Debian GNU/Linux prepackaged version of [xxx]" as many copyright
files usually say? Are "Debian package" and "package in .deb format" the
same thing?

[ Yes, I could switch to "debmake style" and say just "this package was
Debianized by...", but I think it is not as nice ].

Would be ok to say just "this is [xxx] in .deb format" for
all non-free packages?
