X11: app-defaults and XF86Config
I think we should move app-defaults which is under /usr/X11R6/lib/X11
to /etc/X11 because resources files are configuration files and must
be protected from upgrades. This way /usr/X11R6 can be mounted
read-only. One temporary fix could be to add a symlink from to
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults to /etc/X11/app-defaults.
Another thing about XF86Config, I think the sources of XFree86 should
be patched to look at this file under /etc/X11 because if you use
xf86Setup, you loose your config as xf86Setup removes or backups
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/XF86Config and the symlink is anylonger present.
