I did use redhat for 1 year prior to switching to debian, and I know rpm
pretty well. I could take on rpm and maybe alien. I have some ideas on how
to get alien to convert .rpms better.
How closely have you been working with the people at redhat with rpm? I
guess I'll have to sign up to the rpm list again (sigh..). Are they aware
debian has a rpm package?
What other rpm issues need work? I don't see much else on the bug list..
