Proposal alternatives
Good morning guys!
I'm sometimes in the need to boot from disk and mount the root
partition as /mnt. After that I'm unable to call e.g. a vi because
it uses update-alterantives together with absolute paths.
/mnt/usr/bin/vi --> /etc/alternatives/vi
/mnt/etc/alternatives/vi --> /usr/bin/elvis
Could we please discuss if it would make more sense using relative
paths?
I really would appreciate this.
Thanks,
Joey
