Well, for now I'll probably stick with just the part after the else
clause since I already added that. I'll consider the local-only part.
It looks right, but I want to think about it... I have a new package
ready to go, but I'm waiting to hear back from the gimp authors to see
if it's OK to release it. It's based on their interim 961001 release,
and aside from having many cool new features, it also no longer
depends on motif.
It does have some known bugs, but so does the current version...
