I can have a look at these. I'm currently working (together with Dominik 
Eberlein) on a new TeX for Debian so this might be good for a while. I
plan to decentralize TeX packages after we have a decision what to do next
and when the TeX packages have stabilized.

However, I will leave mathpad for someone else since it doesn't belong
to the "core TeX distrib", IMHO:
