This release includes an urgent security patch for version 8.7.6; it is
otherwise identical to 8.7.6-1. It is recommended that all installations of
sendmail be upgraded.
Bruce, can we make this package known to the people who will undoubtedly be
making security announcements about the newly discovered problem in sendmail?
It would be nice to have the Debian remedy included in the announcement.
Alternatively, if you can give me the address(es) of the people I should talk
to, I can arrange to do this myself.
I haven't packaged 8.8.3 yet, but will be looking into it shortly.
