Bug#740: xclock leaves `droppings' in its window

Yes, I've had this problem recently with xserver-s3 3.1.2-5.  I've
also, btw, seen it happen on the Cockroft 4 Pentiums here in
Cambridge, when running the 3.1.2 XF86_S3 that's in Mond Linux.
