Bug#5358: gpm does not work

Version: 1.06-1
gpm, as installed with Debian 1.1, does not paste. That is, the left
button works, and a double click highlights the word, but the right
one does not paste. I have a 2-button microsoft mouse configured as
`bare'. gpm worked well with my previous Debian installation (0.9 if
I remember correctly). Moreover, if gpm is running when I launch X,
the mouse movements are almost impossible inside X. mc (midnight
commander) works well with gpm.
I can provide more information if needed, or even carry some tests.
