As maintainer of gnuplot and gs, I agree. I've already uploaded
a corrected version of gs, so there should be no problems there.
Unfortunately I cannot find the bug in gnuplot (I need you, Guy!),
but if it's only gnuplot, I can link gnuplot statically with
the old allocator, and the rest of us can completely forget about the old
allocator.
