Bug#3303: manual of xdaliclock not found

"man xdaliclock" doesn't find the manual page:

No manual entry for xdaliclock

I've installed this package just like any other x11 packages which
have their manual pages found (xsysinfo, xpdf).  The file exists
(/usr/X11R6/man/man1/xdaliclock.1) and "man -l
/usr/X11R6/man/man1/xdaliclock.1" shows it just fine.

man version: 2.3.10-11

Debian version - wholly upgraded from 0.93R6, can be called 1.1

uname -a: Linux birnam 1.3.100 #3 Thu Jun 13 15:13:39 IDT 1996 i486

|birnam| ldd `which man`
        libgdbm.so.1 => /usr/lib/libgdbm.so.1.7.3
        libc.so.5 => /lib/libc.so.5.2.18

Any more info required?
