Package: syslogd Version: 1.3-2 The shell script "/etc/init.d/sysklogd" refers to the file "/var/run/syslogd.pid", which doesn't exist on my system -- a newly installed 1.1 beta. I edited this to refer to "/var/run/syslog.pid" instead, which seems to be the correct file.
