Bug#3144: octave fails to dynamically load functions

You want to wait until octave-1.2 comes out before you release a new version
to fix our broken one? I think that is a mistake.

  Dale> be replaced by the older a.out 1.1.1-1 version.

Please release an Elf version of any of the recent snapshot if you have the
time.
