When trying to format a partition >2GB, just as it's writing the inode
tables (whether the badblock check gets done or not, doesn't matter), I
consistently get the error:

mkfs.ext2: can't resolve symbol 'llseek'

Everything works fine on partitions <2GB.  I suspect that this object
file isn't getting included when the libc is being assembled, but, having
looked at the generate_library script, it's not immediately apparent how
to fix it.
