Bug#2960: /etc/cron.weekly/syslogd is not a conffile as it ought to be
Package: syslogd
Version: 1.3-2
The file /etc/cron.weekly/sysklogd is not installed as a conffile as
it should be. As a lot of people do have log files with different names
than the default ones the vanilla cron file is of little use and may
even cause havoc. As I recall it used to be a conffile but it seems
to have been changed in recent releases. Thus I urge the maintainer
to again set it as a conffile unless there is a good reason to do
otherwise.
