Bug#2919: very bad fort77 installation message

Package: fort77
Version: 1.11-1

While I admire the humour to some extent, I cannot fail to point out that at
least the `read' at the end of the postinst is in complete violation of the
guidelines (which have "minimise user interaction" as a theme).

I also hasten to point out that Sven's FAQ is better place to point out that
you want to get rid of a package.

This message casts a very bad light on the project. We don't throw packages
away. If you cannot maintain a package, please declare it orphaned.

miles:/mirror/debian/private/project/Incoming [root] # dpkg -i fort77-1.11-1.all.deb
(Reading database ... 17081 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace fort77 (using fort77-1.11-1.all.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement fort77 ...
Setting up fort77 ...

GOT YOU!! your're installing fort77 -- you must be using fortran.
Do you realise that this package is being maintained by somebody
who DOESN NOT EVER use fortran, and that you are therefore probably
a better maintainer for this package than I(the mainainer) am?

If you are interested in taking over this package from me,
mail me (joostje@debian.org, or joost@rulcmc.leidenuniv.nl).
